If Serena's match last night with Azarenko was any indication of what to expect in 2010 it looks like we're in for more of the same. She was down 4-6, 0-4 and somehow managed to come back and win–pretty gritty performance! So far those that seem to be asserting themselves are Serena and Justine with some of the new up-and-comers nipping at their heels. Kim C's loss was a total surprise and I expected Wozniacki to at least get to the semis in Melbourne but she didn't make it.

What no love for Maria? I think 2010 will be an awesome year for womens tennis with Justine, Caroline, Kim, Maria and the Williams sisters.
